A New Way to Think About Food Photography

Confession: I’m a drama queen.

I live, breathe all things drama.

It started in the 7th grade as a shy 13-year old kid who accidentally auditioned for a play and got bit by the acting bug.

And since then, everything I’ve created had to be amplified. From telenovelas to trashy reality to operas, I’m attracted to drama.

So it’s no surprise that I fell in love with the food photography world, is it?

Food is one of the most dramatic elements in the world.

From the intense colors to the flavors, tasting a divine dish is the most vivid experience. My photography reflects that vividness in one portrait.

During my shoots, I always think of how I can boom pow and wow my viewer. I want color, contrast, deep shadows, and all the emotion! All of the drama for your mama! It’s a new way to think about food photography, and I’m here for it, y’all!

So welcome to Austin Food Guide! Located in the Austin area? Interested in learning how I create fresh and innovative visuals, a.k.a drama on a plate? Then sit next to me, sis, and let’s have a chat.
