I recently had the pleasure of working with food stylist Kristina Wolter from Girl Gone Grits on a photo shoot. The photo was to feature a hand holding a sparkly peach—a fun and unique photo that would stand out among the competition.
Kristina brought her assistant Jill along to serve as our hand model, and we picked the juiciest sparkly peach we could find at Whole Foods. It was delicious!
For this shoot, I used two Godox flashes and one strobe for this shot. First, I aimed a flash behind Kristina and Jill to make the peach glow from the inside out. I set the flash’s power to low so it wouldn’t overpower the image but still let me see their faces.
It was a pleasure to work with these women. They brought so much energy and talent to the shoot.
