My husband and I were excited to learn about the opening of Home Slice Pizzeria located on North Loop Blvd. It’s exciting for us because it’s close enough to walk to. The design of this place is insane. The indoors follows the vintage New York pizzeria style, and the restroom has this quirky powder room vibe happening. The patio is spacious and close to a full bar. A cool play area for the little ones. They really hit the nail for meshing everything together to please both the adults and the kids. But we came here for the food.
The first thing we ordered on the menu was the Garlic Knots, and boy, it does not disappoint. I could just live off of this delicious garlicy, buttery dough balls.
We ordered a large pizza with half cheese and half pepperoni. I’m usually a fan of deep dish pizza, but this crust tasted absolutely divine. It was hard to stop eating slices of pizza! We waddled back to our house after dinner.
If you live in the area and you’re looking for a place to take the kids, I recommend you stop by sometime. Parking can be challenging so I’d recommend walking if you live nearby.
